A gold medalist from Nalanda Medical College, Patna, she earned her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Patna Medical College and further advanced her expertise through fellowships in Gynecologic Oncology at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute and Gynecologic Endoscopy at V.S.
